Dan is still the cub-master. We hosted a fun bon-fire for the pack meeting at the beginning of November. Jacob got his Arrow-Of-Light. Its crazy to think he is now onto 11 year olds scouts and then boy scouts. Dan and Jake love working on achievements together. I am so grateful that Dan and Jake love doing this together.
A members husband who is a police officer came and spoke. He is a homicide detective and brought a bunch of his cool "toys". The kids got to dust finger prints. Our neighbor Michael, who doesn't do scouts, came over for this pack meeting and helped with the flag ceremony.
Jake and Tess both practicing their instruments.
My girlie girl got all dolled up. She did a fashion show with all her dresses.
The school had a PTA fundraiser Fall Festival. We let the kids each spend a couple dollars doing all the fun games. Jake and Tess climbed the big rock wall. I watched as Jake was surrounded by his friends inside who were throwing the football perfectly through the hula hoop. Jake missed a couple times. His "athletic" friends were to scared to do the rock wall. Not my Jake. It was a good opportunity to talk about doing things because we love them, everyone has different strengths, and reinforce that he is just as "athletic" as his ball playing friends.Going to his last cub scout den meeting with his buddy Dalton. Dalton has become a regular on Tuesday nights going to scouts with Jake.
I love Abby's art work. She painted this adorable manger scene right after Thanksgiving.
It's Mary, baby Jesus and a sheep.
