Silly kids
Right before the open house, the Friday before school starts when the kids get to visit their teachers and classrooms, Tess found out that her beloved Mrs. Dlugos had transferred schools. Tess was an emotional mess all weekend. She adored Mrs. Dlugos and had her heart set on seeing her every day even if she wasn't her teacher any more. So sad! Tess was a bundle of nerves. Dan gave the kids a Father's Blessing Sunday night and gratefully that helped Tess settle down a bit. Abby woke up this morning confident and ready to ride the bus. Jake and Tess opted to have me drive them. So, Abby stood with Michael, Andrew, and Alu at the bus stop. Clara entertained us by giving Elmo a ride on Sid, the Conover's dog.
We made it to the front of the school just as Abby was getting off.

Clara pitched a fit when I chased after her not letting her go to school with her older siblings. All the adults around us thought it was the cutest thing. Not yet Claire-Bear!!!
